Your shared scrapbook
Your connected partner can read your dates, plans and reviews. Reviews are personal perspectives shared with your partner. Photos and thumbnails require sign-in and current scrapbook membership.
Storage and sign-in
Dately uses Google for sign-in, Cloudflare D1 for account and scrapbook records, and private Cloudflare R2 storage for photos. Google profile images come from Google. These services process data to provide the app. This page does not promise storage in a particular country.
Drafts and downloads
Unsaved date drafts, including selected photos, are stored in this browser on this device and kept separate by account and scrapbook. They are not shared with your partner until you save the date. Browser data clearing removes drafts. Scrapbook exports download photos and both partners' reviews onto your device; those files can be opened without Dately sign-in, so keep them private.
Archive, pairing and deletion
Archiving hides a date from normal views and frees its alphabet letter. It retains the record, photos and reviews so either partner can restore it. It does not permanently delete the date. Accounts cannot join another scrapbook while already paired or holding a pending invitation. No records are automatically removed when you sign out.
You can request account or selected data deletion by emailing support@mcnut.net. We verify account ownership before processing requests. Account deletion covers your sign-in account, profile, invitations, reviews and associated personal data, photos and date records. Removing shared records can affect your partner; support confirms the affected data before processing. There is no additional retention period for account records after deletion is completed. Copies already downloaded or exported remain on those devices.
Calendar reminders
Adding a plan to your calendar downloads an event containing its title, place, planning notes and booking details. The calendar you import it into controls sharing and reminder delivery. You can also enable Dately notifications on each device in Settings. Dately stores that device’s push endpoint, encryption keys and preferences to send partner updates and scheduled plan reminders through your browser’s push provider. Notification text is generic and excludes names, locations and private notes. Delivery depends on your device and browser settings. Date-only plans use 9am in the plan’s time zone. Turn notifications off or sign out to unsubscribe the current device.
Usage analytics and technical logs
With your permission, PostHog processes page visits, selected actions and an opaque identifier in its EU cloud. Date titles, notes, photos and invitation codes are not intentionally collected. You can change your choice on this device below. Cloudflare processes technical diagnostics; Google processes sign-in information.
